Before you submit, consider reading our Home page to decide if your work is a good fit for our journal.

We accept previously unpublished work in prose, poetry, and visual art (ex., artwork and photography).

Guidelines:

• All work must be previously unpublished, original, and not generated by Artificial Intelligence.
• All submissions must be sent to our email address: paremphasismagazine@gmail.com
• Fiction pieces must be no longer than 3,000 words, and poetry no longer than 500 words
• No more than 3 pieces can be submitted for consideration in each genre per submission period.
• If submitting in two different genres, please send us two separate submissions (therefore two separate emails)
• Please attach your submissions as Word doc files (doc/docx). Other file formats will not be accepted (PDF, Google Docs, etc).
• Art submissions can be attached as or jpeg or png files
• For your submission, please use the subject line: (Poetry, or Fiction, or Artwork) Submission for Issue (Number).
• In the body of your email, please include a brief third-person bio of no more than 50 words.

Again, submissions are open until November 1st, 2025, at midnight EST.

Any work sent after this deadline will not be considered or carried over for future issues. Submissions for future issues must be sent during the next designated timeframe.

Writers can expect to hear back in 4-8 weeks after the deadline.
